Draft — not final, not legal advice
This page is placeholder text generated to fill a real gap (no Terms of Service existed at all), not a reviewed legal document. It must be reviewed and finalized by qualified legal counsel before anyone relies on it, before it's presented as binding, and before real customer money or data depends on it.
Acceptable Use Policy
DRAFT — not yet in effect
1. What this covers
What's disallowed when using openhost.sh's sandboxes, once this draft is reviewed and adopted.
2. Disallowed uses
- Using a sandbox to attack, scan, or gain unauthorized access to systems you don't own or have explicit permission to test.
- Cryptomining, or any use whose primary purpose is extracting the platform's raw compute for resale/arbitrage rather than running your own agent workloads.
- Hosting malware, phishing infrastructure, or any content illegal in the jurisdictions openhost.sh or its infrastructure providers operate in.
- Attempting to exceed, bypass, or automate around plan limits (concurrent sandbox caps, runtime caps, rate limits) through means other than actually upgrading your plan.
- Sharing a workspace's saved credentials or API keys outside your own organization, or using another workspace's credentials without authorization.
- Any use that knowingly degrades service availability for other workspaces sharing the platform's infrastructure.
3. Enforcement
Placeholder — a real policy needs defined enforcement steps (warning, suspension, termination) and an appeals process. Not defined yet; today, violation handling would be ad hoc.
4. Reporting abuse
See Security for a security-specific contact point. A general abuse-reporting address is not yet published.
